Have you ever wondered why it seems that your already small circle is even smaller. You come to realize that people who were once friends are now strangers? People who once got you, don't have a clue now? I realized that I have been trying to hold on to people who were meant for last season and were never meant to crossover to my current season. I had to accept that letting go is okay. Some friendships are for a lifetime while others are seasonal. Instead of mourning who is no longer a part of my circle, I choose to embrace who God is bringing into this season of life.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (Romans 8:28 NLT).

About Me

Smartphone

Hello! My name is Jessica. You can call me Jess. Passion Pain Promise is my personal way to connect with and empower other single mothers through encouragement, biblical scripture, and a sense of humor. (Something that I wish I had to help me navigate through the many trials and errors of life.) After much debate, I realized that I could be that someone. Initially, I wanted this to be an in-person group to offer a more personal connection. While that is still my goal, I decided to put my fear aside, be bold and join the online community. As we say in Louisiana, laissez le bon temps rouler...
